I'm retired military and live with my family who also volunteer with CDA. We have three children with special needs: Mike, Ashley and Sienna. All three participate in Special Olympics. My wife and I enjoy volunteering in rafting during the summer and in the winter we watch and help our children with skiing. In the summer of 2007 I started helping with the river rafting and kayaking program. Towards the end of that summer I became certified as a river guide, rowing 18-foot rafts. I am looking forward to doing more river guiding and learning more about the river rafting. My interests include building with wood and watching my two daughters participate in Special Olympics.
