Powderhorn Resort is located in western Colorado on the side of the beautiful Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat-top mountain. With 510 acres of terrain and a vertical drop of 1,650 feet, Powderhorn offers slopes for beginners and experts.
Snowboarders are welcome at Powderhorn. There is a terrain park located right under "Take Four" lift and visible from the daylodge. The features include: hits, straight rails, kinked railes, a rainbow, a trapezoid and a pyramid. More features are added every season.
The rental shop has a full array of equipment for all winter sports including snowshoes.
Cross country skiers will enjoy the 360,000 acres on top of the Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat topped mountain, which is ideal for cross country skiing. There are also 12 miles of groomed trails. Skiers and non-skiers alike can enjoy a winter of fun and scenic beauty at Powderhorn. The people are friendly, and the views are breathtaking.
The Sunset Grille and the Wildwood Restaurant offer foods to satisfy any appetite. The Inn at Wildwood is located slopeside and this is the only ski-in/ski-out lodging at Powderhorn. Skiers and non-skiers alike can enjoy a winter of fun and scenic beauty at Powderhorn. For additional fun things to do, visit the Colorado National Monument and visit the Colorado Wineries located 20 miles away.
