Our snowsports center at Powderhorn Resort will reopen in December 2011 and the online CLUB reservation form will be available starting November 2011.

Alpine (Ski) & Shred (Snowboard) Clubs

Combine the fun of skiing or riding with your buddies with the benefit of having your own coach along. Tour the mountain, hit the terrain park, find lesser-known runs, or just hang out outside and play - whatever you want to do as a group with no pressure to "learn" anything. You pick the terrain, we'll help you and your friends enjoy it more. Open to all age groups, abilities and disabilities. Bring your friends, too.

The Club will meet on select days and it is open to everyone who wants to play in the snow in a group setting. We, the instructors, will follow the group into whatever the group wants to do.

2010-2011 season Club dates:

Club dates will be announced in mid-November 2010.

Single Day: $50 Season (5 days): $225 Team Powderhorn Athletes: $20

Scholarship Policy »

All prices include lift ticket, instructor and equipment rental.

To make certain that you can participate, register for the Club as early in the season as possible.

We require that all our guests wear helmets while skiing or snowboarding. We can provide you with a helmet if you don't have one.

Personal attendant care is NOT provided by CDA. We welcome personal attendants to join the club session to provide care on the mountain.

It is the goal of Colorado Discover Ability (CDA) that none of our clients be excluded from our program activities due to financial circumstances. Scholarships are available for our winter and summer activities. CDA scholarships awarded typically do not exceeding 50% of the activity fee and are based on available funds.

Applying for a CDA Scholarship

Clients or the parent/guardian of the client are required to complete the scholarship application form for each activity AT LEAST 45 days prior to summer activities and AT LEAST 14 days prior to a winter activity. Applications received after these deadlines will be considered only if funds are available. Clients or the parent/guardian of the client will be notified within 5 business days on the scholarship amount.
