Office Manager:  Michele Rehl

Michele spent twenty years in the restaurant business, moving up to District Manager of five restaurants for a major chain in Las Vegas, NV.  She became one of the twelve original members of the General Managers Advisory Council for the 1,600 restaurant chain.   She moved to Grand Junction in 2004, owned a restaurant for two years, then accepted a job in Human Resources in the oil and gas industry.  Michele has a certificate in Human Resource Management from the Malcolm Baldridge School of Business at Post University, Waterbury, CT.

Terry has been Executive Director of two Olympic sports National Governing Bodies, US Sailing and US Synchronized Swimming over an 18 year period.  Prior to that he practiced as a civil trial lawyer for several years in San Diego, CA and, from 1988 to 1992, he served as Vice President of Operations/Race Management, for the 1988 and 1992 America’s Cup international sailing competitions.   After moving to Grand Junction in August 2013, he joined the board of directors of Colorado Discover Ability, and was selected as its Executive Director in August 2014. Program Director:  Julie Mauch Julie Mauch is our Program Director for Colorado Discover Ability (CDA).  A graduate of Princeton University, Julie has extensive experience in the sport of skiing.  She has been a training supervisor and training coordinator for a high volume Colorado resort ski patrol, and was named Colorado Ski Country Patroller of the Year.  A certified Emergency Medical Technician and CPR instructor, she also has extensive experience in whitewater rafting.  Julie is also a registered yoga teacher with additional certifications in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy. “We are delighted that Julie is joining us,” said CDA President Walt Bergman.  “She brings a wealth of outdoor experience, as well as excellent management and leadership training and experience. Julie also brings experience as a CDA volunteer for several years.” “As a Colorado native, outdoor recreation has been an important part of my life,” said Julie. “CDA blends the outdoor recreation with my passion for service to create a wonderful match.”
